SAIL AWAY AND A SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL VIOLIN

As we are sailing out of Barcelona today a little after noon, we decided to stay on board. I had my very favorite breakfast ... lox, bagels and cream cheese, in the Lido this morning.

After breakfast we took a good, long look at this wonderful port and truly hated to say goodbye to this beautiful and exciting place.

Our favorite waiter, Booz-E was there and he saw to it that Frank got his ice cream fix for the afternoon.

At the sail away we were entertained by the pool with music, drinks and hors d'oeuvres and it was a good way to end this all to short visit.

We went to the show in the evening which was a man named Craig Halliday. He has established himself throughout the industry as the top male solo violinist. This is a position that is usually dominated by women.

As a solo violinist he has played all over the world. He is regularly in demand for productions such as Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera.

The thing that makes him unique is that he begins his show by playing a Swarovski crystal-encrusted electric violin ... the only one in the world. Maybe Cathy could get one of these to go with her purses ;-) Our daughter-in-law, Beth, would have enjoyed his performance as he played a lot of Celtic music which is one of her favorites.

We also met our new table mates, Jean and Andy McKaye. John and Cathy are still with us so it will be a great table.

They are both retired teachers and live in the San Francisco Bay area. They like to play trivia and he is a 49ers fan, so we will have a good rivalry going there due to our love of the Cowboys!
Our destination tomorrow is Alicante, Spain. I don't know much about it but I'm sure that I'll find out soon!

XOXO, Pcasso
